Specification callouts & compatibility guidance
When selecting a module, check flash memory size (for OTA and libraries), available GPIOs, and required power rails. For battery projects, confirm whether the devboard includes LiPo charging, and size your regulator for the ESP’s peak transmit current (ESP32 peaks ~300-500 mA). If you need to flash firmware or debug, choose a board with accessible USB or exposed UART pins.
