A motor draws 12 A peak at 24 V and the cable is 2 m one-way (4 m round-trip). Cable resistance is 0.018 ohm for chosen conductor. Voltage drop = I * R = 12 A * 0.018 ? = 0.216 V. Power loss = I^2 * R = 144 * 0.018 = 2.592 W. Select a connector rated above peak current (e.g., 20 A) and wires sized to limit Vdrop and heat.
