Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs) are essential in electronics for transferring heat efficiently from heat-generating components (like CPUs, LEDs, power transistors, or voltage regulators) to heatsinks or enclosures. Their main role is to minimize air gaps and surface imperfections between mating surfaces to improve conductivity and prolong component life.
